Submission Instructions

SCIENTIFIC PAPER:

All regular papers, including those to be considered for student travel awards, choose this category. Learn more about the student travel awards instructions.

Page Limits: The normal page limit for all scientific and invited papers is 4 Pages. For the final submission up to 2 extra pages (maximum 6 pages) are permitted (Although additional letters and support material can be added in order to satisfy the Student Travel Award application -- see above). A prepayment of $50 will be required at the time of final submission for each additional manuscript page beyond 4.

Downloadable templates/sample papers: LaTeX and MS-Word templates should be used for formatting your manuscript. For complete instructions on each: LaTex and MS-Word.

Formatting: Formatting will be tightly constrained at the time of submission to assure that the searchable IEEE-format will be satisfied. Click to here test your PDF file. Please consult the Pdf Tips on how to satisfy the format rules. This makes things not as simple, but it assures that your paper will be accepted into IEEE Xplore archives as a fully searchable document.

SPECIAL PROPOSALS:

Use this category if you are interested in proposing a special session on a focused topic within the normal ICORR program. Additionally, individuals interested in proposing a pre- or post-conference workshop or tutorial, please submit your proposal here for review. Conference hall space and time may be available on Tuesday before the main conference or Friday after the main conference.
People considering a special proposal are also encouraged to contact Dr. Richard Weir, Co-Chair of the conference, for more information.
Please provide in your application the type of special event (session, workshop or tutorial) a title, organizer’s name(s), affiliation(s), and contact information, rationale, intended audience, estimated number of participants, proposed format, and anticipated content.

CONSUMER TRAVEL AWARD APPLICATION:

A limited number of travel awards are also available for consumers of rehabilitation robotics technology (e.g. individuals with neurological disabilities that are not researchers). Learn more about the consumer travel awards instructions.
