Education & Dissemination

MARS-RERC will utilize peer reviewed scientific publications, presentations at national and international conferences, and exhibits/poster sessions to outreach to practitioners and other scientists.  In addition, we will develop websites for consumer, agency, and media outreach, RIC on-site practitioner training/education courses, and will offer a major state of the science conference.

Other activities to promote education, dissemination, and outreach efforts regarding MARS-RERC research and rehabilitation methods include:    

• Courses are available as on-site training within RIC. 
• Biomedical Robotics 495 - Relevant course.
• Web based presentations - via our continuing education network. 
• APTA coursework available (PPT).
• Neural Engineering Internship Program - Intensive training in our research laboratories suitable for doctoral training of engineering and neuroscience summer internships. 
• Dissemination Plan-In Year 2 of the grant.
