We have had a lot of attempts using the DesignJet 550C and various programs. PowerPoint is the best so far. If you create your poster using PowerPoint, you will get a final printout of up to 42h by 56w inches. The printer will print 42h inches , and PowerPoint only prints up to 56w Inches. There are ways around the 56-inch problem, (talk to Jim Patton). Get a template poster from http://sulu.smpp.northwestern.edu/utilities/template_poster.ppt and modify it as needed. Lance Adams  l-adams4@northwestern.edu, 238-1493 can help you print it. For medical campus people outside SMPP, you must contact the SMPP Director Zev Rymer, w-rymer@northwestern.edu  or Joan Ciapas jciapas@northwestern.edu for approval. The current charge for people  outside SMPP is $40.
