I am a biomedical engineer and neuroscientist. I am a Professor in Bioengineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and direct the Neuro-Machine Interaction (NMI) Laboratory. I also co-direct the Robotics Lab at the Sensory Motor Performance Program of the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. I’m also affiliated and collaborate with Northwestern University and our department in particular is affiliated with Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physiology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Institute for Neuroscience and Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences.
